Joining the docsociety

I am a Catholic man who has been baptized and confirmed.
I agree to live in fraternity with Catholic men, fellow Christians and in civic agreement with my countrymen under God.
I agree to participate in acts of fraternal correction of priests or laymen who teach or act in defiance of Catholic teaching on the brotherhood of men and the fatherhood of God.
I will not particpate in any movements to change the all male celibate character of the priesthood and the hierarchal structure of authority in the Church.
I accept the docsociety philosophy of reform—that the Church, her teachings and her structure are not the cause of the sex abuse scandal. The cause is corrupted churchmen—some of whom like Peter will repent and lead, some of whom like Thomas will be strengthened and will believe and some of whom like Judas will persist in the deceit of Satan and must be expelled.
I will say the prayer to St. Michael the Archangel every February 5 as a pledge to keep these promises.
I will sign this pledge and keep it on my person.

 

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host
by the Divine Power of God - cast into hell,
Satan and all the evil spirits, who roam throughout the world
seeking the ruin of souls.
